ACCESSIBILITY STICKERS
WHAT IS THE ACCESSIBILITY STICKER PROGRAM?
Upon arrival, please visit the Help Desk during open hours for an accessibility sticker. This sticker should be attached to your CC badge and is meant to show CC staff that the patron plus one companion is eligible to enter the accessible seating areas (read more on this below). The accessibility sticker is non-transferable. If you have a VIP Badge, any companion or caretaker must also have a VIP Badge in order to accompany you into VIP-only events.
ACCESSIBLE SEATING
WILL THERE BE RESERVED SEATING FOR ATTENDEES WITH DISABILITIES?
In the rooms with VIP Seating, there will be reserved accessible seating in both Standard and VIP sections. Attendees who have mobility disabilities, low vision, cognitive disabilities, are hard of hearing, or have other disabilities that make it necessary or helpful to sit near the front of the room may sit in the reserved accessible seating area, space permitting (come early). Attendees will need an accessibility sticker that gives them permission to use the reserved section. These will be distributed at the Help Desk during open hours.
Please Note: the sticker does not guarantee a spot in these areas. Viewing areas have a limited capacity and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We cannot save or reserve seats or areas. Once it’s determined that an accessible viewing area is filled to capacity (including adequate aisle space for entering and exiting the area), the area will not be available for additional entry.
AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE (ASL) INTERPRETATION
CrimeCon is committed to providing effective communication and accessible experiences for all attendees. ASL interpretation and other auxiliary aids may be available for sessions based on individual request and interpreter availability.
To help us provide the best possible experience, we encourage attendees to submit ASL interpretation requests at least 30 days in advance of the event. Requests should be sent to access@crimecon.com and include your name, as well as the session title, date, time, and location.
We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate requests received after this timeframe, including on-site requests at the Help Desk. However, availability will depend on interpreter scheduling and event logistics.
INFORMATION FOR ATTENDEES WITH MOBILITY DISABILITIES
HOW DO I GET TO CAESARS PALACE IF I USE A MOBILITY DEVICE?
Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) offers several accessible ground transportation options to get you to the Las Vegas Strip.
- Rideshare (Uber/Lyft): Both Uber and Lyft offer Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV) options in Las Vegas.
- Pickup Locations:
- Terminal 1: Go to the T1 Parking Garage, Level 2.
- Terminal 3: Go to the T3 Parking Garage, Level V.
- Note: Use the airport’s "Passenger Assist" elevators to reach these levels.
- Accessible Taxis: Wheelchair-accessible taxis are available on-demand at airport taxi lines. Companies such as Yellow Checker Star (702-873-2000) and Whittlesea Blue Cab operate lift-equipped vans. You do not typically need a reservation from the airport, but you may request a "loader" or dispatcher at the curb to call a van to the front of the line.
- Airport Shuttles: Commercial shuttle services (like SuperShuttle or Bell Trans) operate 24/7 outside baggage claim. You must specify that you require a lift-equipped vehicle when booking or at the ticket counter.
- Paratransit (RTC): If you are a paratransit rider in your home city, you are eligible for RTC Paratransit services in Las Vegas for up to 21 days.
- Contact: Call 702-228-4800 at least one day in advance to schedule your ride.
- Pickup: RTC paratransit picks up at Terminal 1 (Level Zero) and Terminal 3 (Level 2).
- Service Animal Relief Areas (SARA):
- Terminal 1: Near Door 13 (outdoor) and near Gate C30 (indoor).
- Terminal 3: Near Door 52 (outdoor) and near Gate E11 (indoor).
We recommend requesting accessible transportation in advance when possible.
IS THERE ACCESSIBLE PARKING AT CAESARS PALACE?
Yes, Caesars Palace provides designated accessible parking for guests in both its self-parking and valet facilities.
- Locations: Accessible spaces are located in the main Caesars Palace self-parking garage, typically positioned near elevators for easier resort access.
- Requirements: To utilize these spaces, you must have a valid government-issued disability parking permit, placard, or license plate. Out-of-state permits are recognized in Nevada.
- Valet Services: For those who find the garage distance challenging, accessible valet parking is available at the main entrance.
- Fees: Parking fees apply to both self-parking and valet.
- Note: For the most current daily rates, guests are encouraged to call the front desk at 702-731-7110.
DOES CAESARS PALACE HAVE ACCESSIBLE GUEST ROOMS?
Caesars Palace offers a variety of ADA-compliant guest rooms across its towers to accommodate different accessibility needs.
- Mobility Accessible Rooms: These rooms include features such as:

- Lowered closet rods and accessible clearance around beds.
- Hearing Accessible Rooms: These are equipped with visual alarms and notification devices (such as door knock sensors and telephone ring alerts).

DOES THE HOTEL RENT WHEELCHAIRS OR SCOOTERS?
Wheelchair and scooter rentals are not provided directly by the hotel; however, several third-party vendors in Las Vegas offer delivery to Caesars Palace. We recommend arranging rentals in advance of your arrival.

WHERE MAY I RECHARGE MY MOBILITY DEVICE?
- Ballrooms (Forum, Octavius, & Augustus): Power outlets are located along the perimeter walls of the major ballrooms. If you need to charge during a session, please ask a room monitor to help you find an outlet that does not obstruct aisles.
- Pre-Function Areas: Wall outlets are available in the spacious foyer and lobby areas of the convention center for quick "top-off" charging between sessions.
- Guest Room Charging: If you are staying on-property, all Caesars Palace accessible guest rooms feature conveniently located standard power outlets near the bed or desk area for overnight charging.
- Safety Reminder: When charging in public areas, please ensure your extension cord is secured and does not present a trip hazard for other attendees.
RESTROOMS
WILL THERE BE ACCESSIBLE RESTROOMS?
Accessible restrooms are located in every major wing of the convention center, including the foyer areas outside the Augustus, Octavius, and Forum Ballrooms.
These facilities feature:
- Wide entryways and automatic door openers (where available).
- Stalls with grab bars and sufficient "turning space" for standard wheelchairs and scooters.
- Lowered sinks and touchless soap/towel dispensers.
Companion & Unisex Restrooms: For attendees who require the assistance of a companion of a different gender, family/unisex restrooms are available in key locations, including:
- Near the Starbucks in the Silver Stars and Diamond check-in area.
- Within the Forum Shops near the Trevi Restaurant.
- At the Pool and Spa areas.
Ambulatory Stalls: High-traffic restrooms at Caesars Palace also include ambulatory accessible stalls (stalls with grab bars designed for those who use crutches or walkers but do not require a full-sized wheelchair stall).
CALM SPACE
IS THERE A SENSORY CALMING SPACE?
Those with sensory sensitivities or anyone feeling overwhelmed by the conference experience are welcome in the Calm Space. Visit the Help Desk to be directed to the Calm Space.
SERVICE ANIMALS
WHAT IS YOUR POLICY REGARDING SERVICE ANIMALS, SERVICE ANIMALS IN TRAINING, EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS AND PETS?
We love our four-legged friends and want to make sure everyone has a smooth experience.
Service Animals & Service Animals in Training
- Welcome to the Show: Fully trained service dogs (and miniature horses) and those currently in training are welcome in all CrimeCon session rooms and exhibit halls.
- The "Two Questions": To keep things simple, our staff will never ask for "proof" or "certification." We may only ask if your animal is a service animal (or in training) and what tasks they are being trained to perform.
- Tower Tip: For the shortest walk to the great outdoors, we recommend requesting a room in the Augustus Tower. The designated relief area is located just outside the Augustus Tower entrance.
Pets & Emotional Support Animals (The "PetStay" Program) While only service animals can join us in the convention sessions, your pet dogs are invited to stay as VIPs (Very Important Pups) in the hotel!
- PetStay Rooms: To bring a pet dog, simply book a "PetStay" room. You’ll be greeted with a welcome packet that includes a pet mat, food/water dishes, treats, and waste bags.
A Friendly Reminder: All animals must be house-trained and kept under their handler’s care and control (usually on a leash or harness) while in public areas.
SERVICE ANIMAL CHECK-IN
If you are bringing a permitted service animal to CrimeCon, you must first check-in at the Help Desk.
Requirements: Service animals must adhere to the following or the animal will need to leave the conference:
- They must be house-trained.
- Service animals must be under the control of and alongside their handler and harnessed, leashed, or tethered, unless these devices interfere with the service animal’s work or the individual’s disability prevents using these devices. In that case, the individual must maintain control of the animal through voice, signal, or other effective controls.
- The service animal must not threaten the health or safety of any person or other animal. Disruptive or dangerous animals will need to leave the conference. The handler may return without the animal.
- Responsibility: Any person that brings an animal to the conference is responsible and liable for any damage or injury caused by the animal.
MEDICATIONS
CAN YOU ASSIST ME WITH REFRIGERATION FOR MY MEDICATION?
If you are a hotel guest, please coordinate refrigeration needs with the hotel. If you are not a hotel guest, you may bring a small cooler to the conference.
WHERE MAY I DISPOSE OF SHARPS?
To ensure the safety of housekeeping and facility staff, do not dispose of needles or other sharps in standard trash containers or recycling bins.
- Requesting a Container: Guests should call Caesars Palace Housekeeping or Security at 702-731-7110 (or use a house phone) to request a puncture-resistant sharps disposal container for their room.
- Pick-up: Once the container is ready for disposal, contact the same department to arrange for a safe pickup and exchange.
Everyone is welcome at CrimeCon!
