CrimeCon wouldn't be possible without our incredible network of volunteers who help to keep everything on track throughout the weekend! Our CrimeCon 2024 Nashville Volunteer Application is now open.
The CrimeCon volunteer program is an even split of work and play. Our day is divided into three shifts: Morning (7:30am-2:00pm), Afternoon (1:30pm-8:00pm), and Evening (6:00pm-12:00am). On any day you’re scheduled to volunteer you’ll be able to enjoy the event before and/or after your shift – and you’ll also be given a volunteer t-shirt! Best of all you will meet tons of great people and get an “inside” view of the convention.
Volunteers also help us in the days leading up to CrimeCon and set the tone for a great weekend. These roles include registration, putting together our awesome gift bags, and other general organizational tasks. These and our post-event wrap up volunteers are also given back equal time to enjoy CrimeCon as an attendee on the day(s) of their choosing.
CrimeCon volunteers are not required to purchase a badge in order to participate, but
if you have already purchased a Standard badge and are approved to join the volunteer team then, after completing at least three volunteer shifts, you'll be eligible to receive a voucher for the amount you paid. This voucher can be applied toward a badge for a future CrimeCon event over the next five years. Please note that VIP badges are not eligible for vouchers.
Want to volunteer with a friend? Awesome, the more the merrier! Please let us know you’d like to work together in your applications. Each person must fill out their own application and once they do, we’ll do our best to assign you to the same positions and shifts.
Please note: All volunteers are responsible for their own travel, hotel, and parking expenses.
