Becky Patty is a grandmother trying to find a killer. Her 14 year-old granddaughter Liberty German, and her friend 13 year-old Abigail Williams, were murdered in Delphi, Indiana in February of 2017. Ever since Becky and her family have been on a mission to spread awareness of Libby’s unsolved murder to audiences near and far. A cellphone video Libby captured in the moments before her murder gives us a glimpse of the man who approached the girls on an abandoned railroad bridge and ordered them “down the hill” to the crime scene. Even while receiving treatment for and recovering from stage 4 cancer, Becky has traveled to fairs and festivals across the country to hand out flyers with information about the case. She has appeared on daytime network talk shows including Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz, documentaries, and podcasts like HLN’s Down the Hill that have generated millions of views and downloads. She also participates in online discussion groups dedicated to trying to solve her granddaughter’s baffling murder.
