CHELSEA WAREKE

Chelsea graduated from Seattle University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a Specialization in Forensic Science. She soon started her career in the Medical Examiner field when she obtained an internship with the King County Medical Examiner’s Office in Seattle. Here she worked for two years as an autopsy technician and forensic anthropology intern. Chelsea started working at the Snohomish County Medical Examiner's Office as an Investigation Assistant in June of 2016. She was promoted to a Medical Investigator II in December 2016. Chelsea mainly works as an autopsy technician, performing many essential duties to help the doctors with their examinations. She can also go to death scenes as a medicolegal death investigator, essentially acting as the eyes and ears for the Forensic Pathologists in the field. Chelsea received her Board Certification with the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators (ABMDI) in July of 2018.
