Glenn Stout


Glenn Stout specializes in sports and popular history. He has written, ghosted or edited more than 100 books and consulted on a variety of editorial projects with hundreds of writers. He is the author of "Tiger Girl and the Candy Kid: America's Original Gangster Couple," "Young Woman and the Sea: How Trudy Ederle Conquered the English Channel and Inspired the World," (currently under development as a feature film for Disney + starring Daisy Ridley), "The Selling of the Babe," "Fenway 1912," "Nine Months at Ground Zero," and many others. He also served as Series Editor for "The Best American Sports Writing" and is editor of "The Year's Best Sports Writing." A dual citizen of the United States and Canada, Stout is a graduate of Bard College and lives in Vermont.
