  • KELLY SIEGLER

    Kelly Siegler is a veteran prosecutor, known nationwide for her toughness, tenacity and skill in the courtroom. For over 21 years, Kelly fought for justice for Harris County, Texas residents and crime victims until she resigned from the District Attorney's office in May 2008.


    She has prosecuted some of the hardest cases with some of the toughest criminals Harris County has seen and has done so against the most formidable and respected criminal defense attorneys in the state. She has tried approximately 200 jury trials and is not only respected for her ability in the courtroom but also sought out as a speaker and expert in effective courtroom advocacy.


    She has lectured all over the country on topics such as, "Final Arguments," "Jury Presentation," "Arguing Effectively for a Death Sentence" and "How to Pick a Jury." Kelly has tried over 65 murder cases and secured convictions in all of them.


    A fierce advocate on behalf of crime victims and their families, she also has the respect of members of law enforcement agencies, not just in Harris County but also nationwide. Additionally, Kelly is an executive producer and veteran prosecutor on Oxygen True Crime’s “Cold Justice” which has successfully helped bring about 56 arrests and 24 convictions.

  • JOSEPH SCOTT MORGAN

    Joseph Scott Morgan is the Distinguished Scholar of Applied Forensics at Jacksonville State University in Alabama. Joseph holds a Master of Forensic Sciences degree and is formerly a board certified fellow of the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators. He is the host of the podcast, Body Bags with Joseph Scott Morgan, which was nominated for a Clue Award at CrimeCon 2022 Las Vegas.


    Joseph began his career in New Orleans, Louisiana where he was one of the youngest coroner investigators in the United States. Following his tenure in Louisiana, he was named Senior Investigator with the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office in Atlanta, Georgia. During his time in Atlanta, Joseph helped create and establish the national training guidelines for medicolegal death investigators. Eventually, the national guidelines would lead to the formation of the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators.


    In 2013, Joseph Scott Morgan was named Georgia Author of the Year for his memoir entitled "Blood Beneath My Feet: The Journey of a Southern Death Investigator". Joseph's memoir is currently in development as a televison series. In 2021, Morgan starred in the Oxygen series "Murdered and Missing in Montana" which explored the suspicious deaths of indigenous women on Native American reservations in Montana. Joseph will be starring in the Oxygen docuseries, based on the podcast, "The Piketon Massacre", slated for a November/December 2023 premiere.

  • SHERYL MCCOLLUM

    Sheryl “Mac” McCollum is a three time nominated Emmy Award winning CSI from CSI Atlanta, National Law Enforcement Hall of Fame 2023 Inductee, CSI for WBS Ch2 Action News, Director of the Cold Case Investigative Research Institute (CCIRI), host of the podcast Zone 7, a writer for CrimeOnline, Forensic and Crime Scene Expert for Crime Stories with Nancy Grace, and a working CSI for a metro Atlanta Police Department. Sheryl holds a master’s degree in Criminal Justice with an emphasis on Policing. She is the co-author of the textbook., Cold Case: Pathways to Justice.


    Sheryl has reviewed, consulted and worked on thousands of criminal cases across the USA and has appears on Dateline, Nancy Grace, Dr. Oz, CSI Atlanta, Fox Nation, and Discovery ID. Some of her most famous cases include: The Boston Strangler, Natalie Wood, Kathleen Savio (Drew Peterson), Don Lewis (Tiger King), Natalee Holloway, the Missing and Murdered Children (Wayne Williams) and Tu Pac Shakur.

  • ANGELINE HARTMANN

    As the Director of Communications at the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, Angeline uses her media expertise to help families find their missing loved ones. She also serves as a spokesperson for the organization and is a regular contributor to the television show, “On Patrol: Live.” Before Angeline joined the National Center, she was a Correspondent and Producer for the legendary television show, “America’s Most Wanted,” with John Walsh, where she worked closely with law enforcement agencies across the country, profiling their most dangerous fugitives and unsolved cases.


    Fueling her passion to help more crime victims tell their stories, she launched her independent podcast in 2018. “Inside Crime with Angeline Hartmann” serves as a platform to respectfully amplify the voices of those who have endured the darkest of experiences, and provides fresh, authentic perspectives. Last year, Angeline's podcast achieved a remarkable milestone. It played a pivotal role in solving a decades-old murder case, one that she had been collaborating on with investigators since 1999. Angeline is also a contributing crime analyst on several national television shows and helped create the hit TV crime series, “ATL Homicide.” She has been honored with multiple Emmy Awards for her storytelling and recognized by many law enforcement agencies for her crime reporting and dedicated work in their investigations.

  • CATHY SCOTT

    Cathy Scott, a Los Angeles Times bestselling author, is a veteran crime writer, investigative journalist and blogger for Psychology Today who has won dozens of awards in California and Nevada as well as national awards, including a recent 1st Place from the San Diego Press Club for a piece in Politico about a murder. Best known for writing The Killing of Tupac Shakur and Murder of a Mafia Daughter, she taught journalism for five years at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She is the author of several other nonfiction works, including The Rough Guide to True Crime, The Millionaire's Wife, Death in the Desert, and Unconditional Honor: Wounded Warriors and Their Dogs, which won a best non-fiction award in 2015. Newspaper and magazine assignments have taken her to Somalia as an embedded reporter, to Panama with the Nevada National Guard, to Los Angeles to cover the riots in South Central Los Angeles, and to New Orleans to write about the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Recent TV appearances include Nightline ABC, Dateline NBC, the Today Show, Investigation Discovery, and Vanity Fair’s crime series. She lives in the mountains of San Diego County with her two rescued dogs.
