Larry Pollard

Larry Pollard is an attorney from Durham, NC and was a neighbor of Michael Peterson.

Pollard is the original author of the “Owl Theory” as it relates to the Peterson murder case. He takes a “common sense approach” to all of the State’s factual evidence in the case in order to arrive at his factual conclusions. He applies the law to his conclusions in order to prove that Michael Peterson is an innocent man.

Pollard is an avid outdoorsman, hunter, and sportsman. His knowledge of birds of prey—as well as his familiarity with the neighborhood in which Kathleen’s death occurred—gives him a unique knowledge that was integral in his development of the Owl Theory.
