Lyric Lewis

Lyric Lewis plays Stef on NBC’s A.P. Bio, starring Glenn Howerton and Patton Oswalt, which returned for season 2 March 7. For a quick recap: A.P. Bio follows Harvard philosophy scholar (Howerton), Jack, who is forced to move back to his hometown of Toledo, Ohio, to work as a high school biology teacher after losing his dream job to his rival. He soon learns that his class is full of smarty pants who can help him get revenge on his nemesis. Lyric plays outspoken, strong-willed, and hustling history teacher Stef who helps hold it down in the teacher’s lounge and acts as a sounding board for Jack. She is a true scene-stealer and her comedic timing is impeccable. Lyric also recurs on FX Networks’  Baskets and has been a part of FOX’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Comedy Central’s Drunk History, the Netflix feature Girlfriend’s Day opposite Bob Odenkirk, and the CW reboot of Mad TV. She is also a member of The Groundlings main company and performs regularly around Los Angeles. Outside of work, Lyric loves working out, cooking, Jurassic Park, watching and listening to true crime mysteries, and hanging out with her maltese, Dr. Alan Grant.
