Tara German is the aunt of Liberty German, who was murdered along with her friend Abigail Williams in Delphi Indiana four years ago. Moments after Libby’s dad Derrick, Tara’s brother, arrived at the Delphi Historic Trails to pick the girls up from a hike, he knew something was very wrong. When he alerted his family that the girls were nowhere to be found, Tara was the first person to arrive at the trails to help search for the middle-schoolers. Libby was her brother’s daughter, but to Tara Libby was more of a daughter/little sister. Since Libby and Abby’s murder, Tara has been a tireless advocate for the girls, spreading flyers and messages with information about the case to her social media followers and in online discussion groups.
