CrimeCon 2023 Attendees, this page is for you! Think of it as your guide to CC23. This is an evolving resource that we're going to continue updating as we get closer to the Con. We'll post all announcements, info and updates here. Keep this page bookmarked!

STANDARD ATTENDEE INFORMATION

The following info applies to Standard Badge holders. See other tabs for all other badge types.


✦ HOTEL

World Center Marriot Hotel Guest Information:

‣ Check-in time: 4:00pm

‣ Check-out time: 11:00am

‣ Parking: Discounted single entrance self-parking to all group attendees for the duration of their stay at a rate of $18. Overnight hotel guests will have in and out privileges.


Caribe Royale Hotel Guest Information:

‣ Check-in time: 4:00pm

‣ Check-out time: 11:00am

‣ Parking: For hotel guests there is self-parking for $28.00 (plus tax, per night, per vehicle). For non-registered Hotel Day guest it is $30.00 (plus tax, per vehicle).

‣ Daily Shuttle: There will be continuous shuttle transportation daily (~5 minute ride) to and from the World Center Marriott (CC23 Host Hotel). The pickup/dropoff location at World Center Marriot is at the Convention Center Entrance. The pickup/dropoff location at Caribe is the Convention Center Porter-Cochere. See map here.

   Friday: 10:00am-11:00pm

   Saturday: 8:00am-11:00pm

   Sunday: 8:00am-4:30pm


✦ CRIMECON 2023 REGISTRATION

To pick up your CrimeCon 2023 badge simply bring a copy of a valid photo ID (please ensure that the name matches the name on your registration). A confirmation email printout is also great, but is not required!


Early Registration:

If you're in town early you have the option (not required) to pick up your badge on Thursday evening. 

‣ Thursday 9/21: 6:00-8:00pm

‣ Meet & Greet Rooms 1 & 2


Standard Registration:

‣ Friday 9/22: 9:00am-12:00pm

‣ Meet & Greet Rooms 1 & 2


Late Registration:

If you arrive after 12:00pm on Friday, please visit the Help Desk to pick up your badge.


Daily-only Badge Holders:

If you arrive before 12:00pm on Friday,  please attend Standard registration to pick up your Badge. If you arrive after 12:00pm on Friday, please visit the Help Desk to pick up your badge. Please see all Help Desk hours below.


Please Note: Doors to Programming Rooms open at 11:30a Friday. In order to comply with fire codes you’ll be asked to leave the meeting space after receiving your badge and return to the hotel until doors open.


✦ MEALS

The Host Hotel has a handful of dining options found here.


If you booked a room through our group block at the World Center Marriott, your resort fee includes a daily $20 dining credit (does not accumulate) that can be used at any of the hotels outlets excluding Starbucks and the gift shop.


Concessions: Grab and go beverages and snacks will be available for purchase in the Cypress Alcove during the following hours: 

‣ Friday 9/22: 1:00-6:00pm

‣ Saturday 9/23: 10:00am-4:00pm

‣ Sunday 9/24: 10:00am-2:00pm


Saturday Lunch: During the lunch break on Saturday, the concession stand will offer a box lunch for $22.50 + tax. Oven Roasted Turkey ~ Crisp Lettuce ~ Tomato ~ Honey Wheat Kaiser; Bag of Chips; Bottle Water; Sugar Cookie.

Stop in to rest your legs, grab coffee, or charge your phone. As a reminder, the Gold VIP lounge does not serve food.

The Platinum Lounge will be stocked with coffee, water, soda, light snacks, and light breakfast (Saturday/Sunday only). It's a great place to get away from the crowds.

Platinum VIP Lounge Hours:

‣ Friday: 12:00pm-8:00pm

✦ PRIVATE MEET & GREET

You will be receiving information by email about making requests for your private meeting with a CrimeCon speaker or podcaster.


✦ FAST TRACK ACCESS

Only Platinums have Fast Track access in the Meet & Greet room. This means you can skip to the front of the queue and get back to programming as quickly as possible. Please be sure to follow the signage for this exclusive lane and have your Platinum badge showing at all times.
