Jeff Rinek


Jeffrey Rinek spent most of this 30 years with the FBI investigating crimes against children. Serving out of the Bureau's Sacramento office he was the primary investigator for cases involving missing, murdered, and sexually exploited children, both current and cold cases, in much of Northern California. He previously served in the FBI's Chicago and NY offices were he worked in the areas of white-collar crime, organized crime, and foreign counterintelligence. He was the original case agent in charge of the Yosemite Murders investigation and the Sacramento case agent overseeing what would become one of the FBI's largest ever investigations of the killer known as the Unabomber. He is a certified profiler and has been honored by the California Sexual Assault Investigators Association and the International Homicide Investigators Association.
